The next meeting for the Community of Mercer County Writers - or Nomadic Ink - will be Friday, May 22 at 6 pm at the Ag Center in McAfee.

Your assignment - if you choose to accept - write a story, poem, prose or song entitled:

"My Mother and Me"

We didn't have a very big response to members posting on the blog, but we encourage everyone to post their stories.

The next public reading for Nomadic Ink will be Sunday, May 31st at 2 pm at the Fudge Company on Main Street

April Assignment

Hello Ink Blots;

The April assignment for Nomadic Ink is slightly different, mainly because we will be trying new "technology" or "equipment."

The assignment is "MAY FLOWERS" and it should be more than 500 words, but less than 800 words. Now for the new technology: Tony would like for everyone to post their May writing here on the Nomadic Ink blog.

After you have posted your writing, check out everyone else's writing and leave a comment with constructive criticism.

Community Reading

The next community reading for the Mercer County Community of Writers (Nomadic Ink) will be Sunday, March 15th, 2:00 pm at the Kentucky Fudge Company (yummy!).

The assignment for this reading - as well as for the March 6th meeting - is "March Winds." Any type of writing is okay - poem, essay, short story, song, etc. - but everyone will write on the same topic.
